Nick Bollea DUI – Hulk Hogans Son

Nick Bollea, Hulk Hogan’s son from the TV reality show Hogan Knows Best, was involved in a horrifying crash that injured Nicks friend John Graziano, who was in the passenger seat. John Graziano was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash suffered brain damage and has remained in a comatose state at the Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg.

Flash back to the crash

On August 26, 2007, it was noted by several witnesses that saw Nick Bollea racing his yellow Toyota Supra along side another friend Daniel Jacobs who was driving a Dodge Viper. Nick Bollea stated that he “lost control due to a wet, rainy road and hit a tree”. Two hours after the crash it was revealed that Bollea had a BAC level of 0.055, which is below the legal 0.08 BAC level in Florida. However, laws in Florida state that higher than 0.02 for persons under 21 faces a license suspension.

It was also noted that on the day of the crash, Nick was out boating with his father and two other friends drinking. It was not known how much Nick Bollea was drinking during the day. Later on that night, they were set to head out to dinner when the crash happened.

Flash forward

Nick Bollea was charged with four (4) misdemeanor counts.

1. Reckless driving involving serious bodily injury.

2. Driving with a BAC level of 0.02% or higher while under 21.

3. Using a motor vehicle in the commission of  a felony.

4. Illegal window tinting.

Daniel Jacobs (Driver in the Viper) had one (1) misdemeanor count.
