Heather Locklear DUI

Heather Locklear was arrested in Montecito for DUI on September 28, 2008. Locklear was found parked on freeway 192 disoriented and under the influence after a CHP officer responded to a call of a women driving erratically in a Montecito parking lot. It was unaware at the time whether Heather Locklear was under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance. While at the Santa Barbara police department, Locklear tested negative for alcohol, and further drug tests were pending.

On January of 2009, it was found that Locklear was under the influence of prescription medication, to which Heather Locklear pled no contest to a lesser offense of reckless driving, and had her case dismissed. With a misdemeanor on her hands, she was placed on three (3) years informal probation, charged with $700, and ordered to attend a 12 hour drug education course.
