Chris Klein DUI

Chris Klein from the American Pie movies was arrested for a DUI on February 5, 2005 in San Diego. Klein was pulled over after a traffic stop and had a BAC level over 0.2. In California, the BAC limit is 0.08, and Klein had twice that amount. Chris Klein was charged with two misdemeanors that carries a maxium of six (6) months in jail if convicted.
On June 16, 2010, Chris Klein was once again pulled over by CHP officers on the 101 freeway after Klein was weaving across three lanes of traffic. A DUI will not go off your records for up to 10 years. This will be considered Klein’s second DUI. Klein has since voluntarily checked himself into a 30 day alcohol addiction program in Utah.
After entering a guilty plea, Klein was sentenced to 5 years probabtion with a 90-day license suspension, 150 hours of community service, and $1,800 in fines. Klein has requested to fullfill his community service at the Red Cross Center.
